The production of Iran’s renewable power plants grew by 28%

According to Energy Press, based on the published data of the Monitoring Center for Renewable Energy Resources and Distributed Production, the amount of energy produced by renewable power plants in June reached 230 million kilowatt hours, which is 28% compared to the same period last year and 21% compared to last month. The growth percentage shows that the major part of it is related to the increase in the energy production of wind power plants in the country.

This report indicates that the installed capacity of renewable power plants that can be observed and monitored in the Center for Monitoring Renewable Energy Sources and Dispersed Production is 1200 megawatts.
