Increasing foreign trade and growth of Iran’s non-oil exports
The head of the country's customs announced the increase in foreign trade and the growth of the country's non-oil exports.

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Rezvanifar, the head of Iranian customs announced this news and said: The weight of non-oil exports in the third quarter of this year was 37.8 million tons, which is a 5.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
Rezvanifar added: The country’s export amount, including crude oil and heating oil, technical engineering services and luggage trade, was 25.7 billion dollars.
He announced the value of the country’s foreign trade (total import and export) in the first quarter of 2024 at 40 billion dollars.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Head of Iran’s Customs General said: In the first quarter of 2024, including the export of crude oil and fuel oil (announced by the Ministry of Petroleum) and technical and engineering services, we will see a foreign trade surplus of 11.4 billion dollars and not including Export of crude oil and fuel oil, technical and engineering services, we have had a foreign trade deficit of about 800 million dollars.
According to him, in this quarter, 15.6 million tons of petrochemical products worth 6.2 billion dollars were exported, which shows an increase of 7.26% in weight and 8.85% in value.
Rezvanifar stated: The three main categories of export goods in the first quarter of this year were liquefied natural gas with 1.6 billion dollars, liquefied propane with 864 million dollars and methanol with 604 million dollars.
According to him, among the ten major items of export goods, the highest value growth was allocated to petroleum gases and liquefied gaseous hydrocarbons with 87%, polyethylene film grade with 63% and iron or steel bars with 18% increase.
Regarding the goods that had the biggest decrease in value among the ten major items of export goods, he said: liquefied butane with 13%, iron and steel ingots with 9% and liquefied natural gas with 3% decrease, the biggest decrease. have had the value
The average customs value of each ton of exported goods increased from $351 in the first quarter of last year to $357 in the first quarter of 2013, which has increased by 2%.
Regarding the biggest export destinations of the country in the quarter of this year, he added: During this period, China with 3.6 billion dollars, Iraq with 3 billion dollars, United Arab Emirates with 1.9 billion dollars, Turkey with 1.3 billion dollars, Afghanistan with 524 million dollars, Pakistan with 514 million dollars and India with 443 million dollars were the 7 major export destinations of Iran.
