America condemned 2 people for selling Iranian oil
America sentenced 2 people who were accused of trying to sell Iranian oil and committing money laundering to a total of 45 months in prison.

According to Energy Press, citing Reuters, the US Department of Justice announced in a statement on Wednesday that 43-year-old Zhenyu Wang, a Chinese citizen, and 42-year-old Daniel Ray Lin, a native of McKinney, Texas, were detained in the state of Texas from July 2019 to February 2020. They tried to facilitate the sale of Iran’s sanctioned oil by bypassing the American economic sanctions against Iran and by hiding its origin, they sold this oil to a refinery in China.

Wang and Lin, along with three others, were tried in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Court documents show that at least 2 of them have admitted to wrongdoing in this regard.
