Does drought happen in Tehran?

He stated that the amount of reserves of dams in the last five years was 918 million cubic meters, and added: Last year, with the cooperation of Tehran municipalities and the Ministry of Energy, we were able to manage the city with 402 million cubic meters, which is unprecedented in history. Although the reserves are 33% more than the previous year, this is due to the Taleghan dam and other dams have 10% less reserves than the previous year.

Emphasizing that five thousand billion tomans should be allocated for the transfer of Lar Dam and Taleghan Dam, he added: In the previous year, 82 million cubic meters of water were harvested less than in 2021. This year too, we will not have any problems in the city by saving water consumption.

From Note 3, we were able to repair and reconstruct the 72 km long sewage network, which is definitely very effective in reducing water wastage. 13 km of the main line has been implemented in Shahid Hemet, Shahid Kharazi highways and other parts of the city. The reconstruction of the facilities was also done at the request of the municipality, and the replacement of damaged meters was also done from this place.
