The Deputy Minister of Energy said: Industrial towns that meet 35% of their consumption needs through the construction of renewable power plants will not be subject to electricity restrictions in the summer.

According to Energy Press report, Mahmoud Kamani said before noon today, May 26, in a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development on the sidelines of the Kerman IDEX 2024 conference: The land transfer permit for about 2000 megawatts of electricity has been given to Kerman, and all the inquiries have been made for the construction of the power plant. Solar is excluded except for the environment.

The Deputy Minister of Energy stated: Industrial settlements have been created to facilitate work for the people, and the price of land for solar power plants should not be high, and the settlements must be built with the agreement of Satba.

By stating that the settlements should be built based on the capacity of each region, he clarified: Farmers who use up to 80% of their electricity consumption from renewable energy are exempt from the cost of electricity consumption for four months, but the amount of water extraction must be according to be a butterfly

In this meeting, Habibi, CEO of Kerman Regional Electricity Company, stated that Kerman is one of the leading provinces in renewable energy.
