80% self-sufficiency in oil-rich southern regions in domestically manufactured goods for the oil industry

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company’s information website, Ebrahim Paroun stated on the sidelines of the 15th Specialized Exhibition of Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing, while attending a gathering of reporters, that: Exhibition events for manufacturing equipment required by the oil industry play a fundamental role in supporting the production, increase, and maintenance of oil in the southern oil-producing regions as the country’s largest oil-producing company.
Paroun pointed out that the southern oil-producing regions have the largest number of upstream production-related equipment of the Ministry of Oil, and said: These facilities are scattered throughout the southern oil-producing regions.
Referring to the company’s use of various equipment, the Managing Director of the National Southern Oil-producing Regions Company added: The National Southern Oil-producing Regions Company uses precision instrument, mechanical, rotary, and pipeline equipment of different sizes and specifications, etc., and is in dire need of them.
He pointed out the heavy mission of the southern oil-producing regions in producing and maintaining 75 percent of the country’s oil share and stated: Today, due to the cruel sanctions, our equipment is very old and worn out; The oil industry equipment manufacturers and knowledge-based companies that we see prominently at this exhibition manufacture various equipment for the oil industry and can provide us with effective assistance, as they have done so to date. The CEO of the National Southern Oilfields Company referred to the unveiling of turbines, pumps, and other equipment related to the oil industry at this exhibition and said: It is a great pleasure for the Southern Oilfields to be able to support these manufacturers, suppliers, and first-time producers so that, in addition to manufacturing this equipment, they can enter the mass production stages.
