700 million liters of fuel transferred to Tehran’s power plants
The deputy director of operations for the Tehran Region Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company announced that more than 700 million liters of fuel have been transferred to the country's power plants since the beginning of this year.

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company, Farhad Anvari, referring to the cold weather and the noticeable decrease in temperature, said: Despite the continued cold in the provinces, fuel supply to the Damavand, Gilan, Shahid Rajaee Qazvin, Baghershahr and Montazer Ghaem power plants (PBUH) continues.
Referring to the transfer of 755 million liters of fuel to the power plants from the beginning of this year to the end of November, he stated: Every year, as the winter season approaches and in order to deal with the possible effects of cold and frost on the power plants’ fuel supply system equipment, measures are taken to prevent the limitations caused by these conditions and to ensure the sustainability of electricity production.
The Deputy Director of Operations of the Tehran Regional Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company added: “Accordingly, insulating routes and connections, fixing defects in manual valves to eliminate internal leaks and prevent freezing, repairing insulation and the heating system related to fuel supply routes are some of the necessary activities aimed at dealing with cold conditions, and regional officials are always prepared to deal with weather phenomena.”
