$600 million in annual revenue from flare gas collection
The Ministry of Oil announced that by implementing 12 new flare gas collection contracts, in addition to reducing pollution and saving national resources, 180 million cubic feet of light gas per day will be added to the production cycle. This measure is part of the country's energy consumption optimization program and addressing the country's energy imbalance.

According to Energy Press, Mohsen Paknejad wrote on his personal page on the X social network: “Collecting flare gases is a big step towards clean air, preserving national wealth, and helping to resolve the energy imbalance. By implementing 12 flare gas collection contracts, 295 million cubic feet of gas per day will be saved from burning by the end of 1405 and will return to the production cycle.”
According to Shana, 12 flare gas collection contracts for oil fields in the oil-rich regions of the south were signed yesterday (Saturday, November 1) via video conference by order of Masoud Pezzekian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to the announcement of the Minister of Oil, by completing these projects, which are being carried out with the participation of the private sector, in addition to adding about 180 million cubic feet per day to light gas, the country will earn about $600 million annually from the sale of rich gas and completing the value chain.
