Stating that the commission has not yet made a decision on the continuation or change of the current method of fuel distribution, a member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament said: We have a fuel imbalance and this imbalance must be resolved in some way. Currently, subsidies are being given in the field of gasoline, so this consumption trend must be resolved in a prudent manner so that while observing justice in distribution, consumption can also be controlled.
Stating that the final decision of the government and parliament on gasoline will be announced soon, he noted: The price of gasoline will not change.
Shokrollahi continued by referring to the imbalance and power supply situation in the upcoming summer and stated: “The country’s power plants are worn out and in fact out of order, and given the shortage in the electricity production sector, the government and the Ministry of Energy have cooperation with China on the agenda to develop renewables and build new power plants.”
