According to Energy Press, the Minister of Oil announced a few days ago that two new layers of oil and gas have been identified during the drilling of the second well of the Pazan field, located on the border of the three provinces of Bushehr, Fars, and Kohgiluyeh-Boyar Ahmad. The Minister of Oil emphasized that the contract for the development of the Pazan field has been signed and awarded, and its implementation will begin soon. According to plans, the field will be ready for production in about 40 months, meaning that one of the country’s largest energy resources will enter production in less than four years.
