36% increase in power plant fuel deliveries
The CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company announced a 36% increase in the delivery of power plant fuel (oil, gas, and furnace oil) in the first 33 days of this year (April 1 to May 2) compared to the same period last year.

According to Energy Press, Keramat Weiskarmi stated that the storage of power plant fuel begins at the beginning of April every year and said: From April 1 to May 2 this year (33 days), an average of 33 million liters of oil and gas were delivered to power plants daily, which is a 46 percent increase compared to the delivery of 22 million liters of oil and gas to power plants in the same period last year (April 1 to May 2).
Stating that the amount of furnace oil delivered in the 33-day period (April 1 to May 2) increased by 25 percent compared to the same period last year, he added: The delivery of power plant fuel (oil and gas and furnace oil) from April 1 to May 2 this year increased by 36 percent compared to the same period last year.
The CEO of the National Iranian Petroleum Products Distribution Company, pointing out that power plants consumed an average of 27 million liters of oil and gas per day in the first 33 days of this year (April 1 to May 2), said: “Oil and gas consumption in the same period last year (April 1 to May 2) was an average of 10 million liters per day, which indicates a 170 percent growth in power plant oil and gas consumption in the 33-day period this year compared to the same period last year.” Increasing trend of liquid fuel reserves in power plants: Viskermi, stating that in the first 33 days of 1404, a total of 1.88 billion liters of liquid fuel were delivered to power plants, stated: 1.364 billion liters of this amount of liquid fuel delivered were consumed in power plants and currently the useful oil and gas reserves of power plants (as of May 2) are 955 million liters, which is an increase of 265 million liters compared to the figure of 690 million liters in the same period last year.
