22% increase in domestic gas consumption
The Deputy Minister of Oil for Gas Affairs announced a 22 percent increase in gas consumption by the household, commercial, and non-consumer industries sectors compared to the same period last year, and said: "Gas consumption in this sector reached 547 million cubic meters per day on Saturday."

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli, referring to the fact that the amount of gas consumption in November this year was equal to the amount of gas consumption in December last year, stated: “Therefore, the so-called winter consumption came to the National Iranian Gas Company a month earlier.” He stated that according to the opinion of meteorologists and forecasts, this winter will be between 3.5 and 4 degrees Celsius colder, adding: “Each degree of temperature decrease is equivalent to one phase of South Pars, i.e. 25 million cubic meters of increased consumption.” The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company stated: “Naturally, in winter, we will have days when, out of about 850 million cubic meters of total network gas, nearly 70 to 85 percent of network gas is consumed by the household, commercial, small industries, and transportation sectors.”
