According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company, Hamidreza Shafiei Makvand stated that 18 of these wells were descriptive development wells and 54 were repair wells. He said: 60 of these wells were in operational status at five oil and gas exploitation companies affiliated with the National Southern Oilfields Company, 3 wells at the Central Oilfields Company, 4 wells at the Oil Engineering and Development Company, 1 well at the Offshore Oil Company, and 4 wells were completed and delivered to the applicant companies as part of the drilling project. He explained that the number of wells completed during this period has increased by 20 wells compared to the same period last year, and stated: The drilling area during this period was 76,585 meters.
