12% increase in was gas consumption in Tehran province

According to Energy Press, the CEO of Tehran Province Gas Company said: The number of gas subscribers in Tehran Province has reached four million.
Alireza Awani told reporters that out of the total four million subscribers, 91.7 percent are covered in the household sector, 7.75 percent in the commercial and public sector, 35.0 percent in the commercial sector, and 12.0 percent in the agricultural sector. He added: “We supply gas to 99.6 percent of rural areas.”
According to him, gas consumption in Tehran Province has increased by 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
