118 million cubic meters of gas were delivered to the country’s power plants

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi stated that 856 million cubic meters of natural gas were delivered to the national pipeline yesterday (Sunday, January 2), and said: Of this amount, 616 million cubic meters of natural gas, equivalent to 72 percent of the total sweet gas produced, was consumed in the domestic, commercial, and small industries.
Referring to the increasing cold in recent weeks, he stated: Gas delivered to the domestic sector increased by 13 percent yesterday compared to the same day last year.
Regarding the amount of gas currently being delivered to power plants, the spokesperson for the National Iranian Gas Company stated: 118 million cubic meters of gas were delivered to power plants yesterday.
