According to Energy Press, citing South Pars Oil and Gas Company, Touraj Dehghani said: With the completion of drilling operations and completion of well number 5 of the SPD12B platform in the Phase 12 block of the South Pars gas field and the connection of the well to the existing process facilities on the platform, the first well of the 35 infill well drilling plan in this joint field has been put into production.
\nHe announced the daily production capacity of rich gas from this well as more than 2 million cubic meters and clarified: This measure was taken to compensate for the reduction in production due to the natural depletion of the reservoir at the SPD12B platform and to try to restore the platform’s gas production to the initial design capacity of the aforementioned platform.
