\nAmong the most important of these contracts was the $40 billion memorandum of understanding with Russia’s Gazprom, which aimed to develop the Kish and North Pars gas fields and 6 other oil fields, increase pressure in South Pars, complete LNG projects, build gas export pipelines and swap gas and oil products, all of which turned into empty promises.
