According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex Company, Gholam Abbas Hosseini stated on Friday (December 6) in a meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Experts: \u201cSustainable gas supply to the people in the winter season, especially in cold regions, is one of the priorities of the South Pars Gas Complex, and valuable measures have been taken in this direction.\u201d
\nHe noted: \u201cThe reduction of flare gases in the thirteen refineries of South Pars is being carried out with precision and sensitivity, and we have achieved desirable results.\u201d
\nStating that at the beginning of this year, flare gas emissions in South Pars exceeded 8.7 million cubic meters per day, which has now been reduced to 7 million cubic meters per day, the CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex stated: \u201cWith the measures taken, the amount of gas loss due to flare gas emissions will be reduced to 5.29 million cubic meters per day by the end of this year.\u201d
